The Town of Oliver Springs is in the process of applying for a grant through the Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation Recreation Resources Division. The proposed project will address needs at Arrowhead Park based on the recommendations of the Anderson County Parks and Recreation Master Plan. Improvements will consist of providing an asphalt overlay of the 1,320-foot walking trail, as well as drainage upgrades to keep the trail usable and safe. The project will also include ADA compliant access to the ballfields, as well as concrete pads for the bleachers, and ADA seating areas. Finally, LED security light replacements will be made along with the installation of approximately three (3) Wi-Fi nodes on the top of existing light poles. We are asking for the community's input on the proposed improvements. The full Project Proposal Presentation is available on the City's website at http://oliversprings-tn.gov. If you have any questions, you may contact Oliver Springs Town Hall at (865) 435-7722.
